Sometime, for example, in windows mode, CC doesn't build a new .exe version. I change something, for example, in a javascript action, I build a new .exe and the modification is not taken into account, I see the old .exe.

I tried to see if the old .exe kept on running in windows process list, no, it doesn't appear.

It is very annoying. Very stangely, if I wait about 2 ou 3 mn, without changing anything in CC code or else, the new .exe version is now built !!!

I tried different changes :

- Increasing 10 ms to 100 ms in a "do something every few ms"
- inserting "//" or not to comment or not a print("here") instruction

At first compiling after a change, the change is not often taken into account.
But some time after, a new Ctrl F10 or F9 build the right .exe version !!!

Help !

That's very strange. Maybe you have some Anti-Virus software installed on your system messing with the files?

Yes I had the same Idea. I tried to allow CC's entire folder, it doesn't change anything.

Try disabling it completely. Best would be to uninstall it. It is very likely caused by it.

I uninstalled it, nothing changed.
I tried to uninstall/Re-install CC, nothing changed. I don't know what to do now.

Does this happen for projects which you havn't saved already? Maybe you have a problem in your temporary directory. Save the project, then the .exe will be generated and run directly where you saved the .ccb file. You can even manually start it there, and see if it has updated correctly.

Saving the scene just before starting it with CC didn't change anything.

Running the .exe manually from its directory too.

I tried to build a new scene and I don't have the problem.

I have the problem with scenes built with CC version 5.5 !

Mistake : I don't have problem with new CC 5.6 scene. But I have the problem with old CC scenes opened by CC 5.6 or older CC's versions.

I tried to build a new scene with CC 5.6 (so without any problem) and import an old, problematic one, into that one : Same problem !
