http://www.timiscool.net/dukenuk... Short demo, I didn't add jump because it had a bug in it. |

Great, as always! Nice that it has some real 3D elements now. What didn't work with the jumping, some bug on the Coppercube side? And as always: My I host and blog this? :) |

This is absolutely CooL! I always like to play Duke Nukem 3D! |

Nice! the Wallpaintings in the left upper corner -> ROFL! |

Thanks to all for the responses! I spent a good part of my Saturday making that. @niko - Yes, you may host and post. As for the jumping bug, it was double, sometimes triple jumping in flash. Also, it didn't seem to have a way to attach an accurate sound to the jump. |

Posted it on my blog: http://www.irrlicht3d.org/pivot/... Too bad about the jumping, going to fix this as soon as possible. Ah, yes, and sounds would be an idea, right. |

Thanks so much for the support! I'd sure like to expand it some more, but I am going to need a working jump along with a few other things. For example I'll need some way to make rockets explode when hitting walls or bad guys. This would also be useful for when bullets hit the wall, (like in Doom) A small animated poof of smoke rises with each bullet. I figure there's got to be some way to send an animated scene node to the coordinates of the impact zone. Another thing is, the idea of different weapons causing different reactions in the A.I. I dunno, might already be able to do that. Also, the built-in A.I. is great, but would be terrific if it had some more modes. I not trying to stress you out or anything, just some ideas- Other than that I've been studying the 'Variable System' for when the player is carrying different weapons. It seems simple enough. Hopefully I will be able to use the 'Variable System' to transfer the current weapon in hand to another scene. And health too maybe. Thanks again! |

That's true, exploding or doing something at impact would be nice. Also the other stuff. :) |

Do you have plans of releasing the source for this? I want to know how to make an FPS with Coppercube! |
||||
|
No I don't think releasing the source for this would be that much of a help. It's just a plain CopperCube file. Read the CopperCube documentation to learn how, it's easy! You just have to get a little bit creative! |

Haha nice! :) Only i dont like lazy mouse when aiming, but as i unterstood earlier, it depends somehow on flash platform ? |

Another cool game, Tim! I especially like the part where you can blow up the TV with Bill O'Reilly on it. |
