Hi, I would like the menu to be fixed at the top, all content below can be scrolled. And when I choose an menu item I can either jump to a new page, or to a specific part of the existing page. Am a newbie, so please be patient. Thanks |

Here is a video tutorial on how to create a fixed navigation bar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=... and this one is on how to use named anchors to navigate to a specific section of a page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=... More general info on how to set hyperlinks is available in the RocketCake help file. |

@ micaelo - I see your site works well in a pc browser and a mobile phone. I used the navigation bar, and that does not work well in a mobile phone. Did you make it with the buttons as in the youtube example? |

@ lupo No, I didn't use buttons for the menu, but selected the "Navigation menu" from the Toolset pane and put it into the fixed container. This is easier to configure than individual buttons. In the Properties pane you can then set the screen width at which your menu bar should collapse to the mobile menu. Once you have all your menu items included use the slider at the bottom of the RocketCake window and watch at what screen width the menu bar switches to the mobile menu (Hamburger menu). If that happens too early (i.e. no need yet) set a lower value at "MobileMenuVisible". If it happens too late (i.e. menu items already cropped) set a higher value. There is a good explanation on "Navigation Menu" in the RocketCake help file. |
