i'm not programmer, and i work with 3d many years so for triangle is three point but polygon is four point, i know that is lot other like pentagon and hexagon, i know that polygon with 4 vertex is quadrilateral so sorry for this mistake, i just used to called them like this |

no Sam trigon is a polygon. polygons are composed of lines between many points. 1 is a point. 2 is an edge/line. 3 become a polygon. means many-sided. 4 points is two trigons. but I think it has to do with language. to people in the US it's 3 or more. maybe it's different abroad. |
