3 Simple questions I hope - resize, rename and css

Hi, just registered the product taking advantage of your great Christmas offer. Three questions on the program though:-

1) Can you resize an image and keep its proportions as you do so?

2) How do you rename a page? I've created one based on another page and can't see how to rename it.

3) I'm used to CSS in many years gone by. Instead of using that, should I just create pages 'based on' other pages when prompted?

Thanks - such a great program with lots of potential. Glad it was featured in iCreate last month.

I can answer only this part:
You can rename a page by clicking on it and in the property window on the left, change the 'name' property.
About the CSS: I think you can simply ignore CSS with WebsitePainter, it does everything for you. But if you still want to use CSS, you can use the HTML code dialog to add your own css stuff to pages, or even include a css file.

Thanks I'm using the mac version and I can highlight the name of the page which gets a box surrounding it but I can't seem to type over what's there. I'll try what you suggest and see if that works.

I think it would also be really useful to have a way to import sites. I'm hoping to use this program to revamp my wife's cake making site which is currently over 100 pages long. It would save a lot of time being able to import some of it, though I am very grateful for the feature to copy pages based on others already created - most the pages are larger photos of those seen on a gallery page - ie one page with say 30 small photos and each photo links to another page with a larger image of that cake.

Haven't a clue how to make it pop up on the same screen like this...

There is not yet an import feature, but thanks for the suggestion. Pop-up screens could be made manually by using some javascript, there is also no feature directly built into WebsitePainter to do this, I'm sorry.

That's fine, I'm enjoying getting to know the features and have worked out how to rename pages now.

One further question/development idea though - when I go to edit HTML from the menu, it doesn't let me edit the HTML generated - for example, I want to add an 'align=center' to one of the sections, and I can't seem add text in the <title> section

Great program though

If you are using WebsitePainter 1.3.0 (or newer), you can enter additional attributes in the html code. Simply select the option for that in the combobox and type it into the edit field.

Yes, though that lets me add new lines rather than add/edit existing ones I think. I probably still need to get the knack.
