quick question - I want to cut and paste an FAQ page from an old site to a new one. If I enter HTML code via the menu I can't see it on the editing page and I can't justify it. but if I add HTML code box from the right menu, I can't paste the code in, I will have to retype it - is there another way?

You are probably using an older version of WebsitePainter: Try version 1.3.2, there you can paste HTML code into the HTML code element.

Using version 1.3.2. I can go to view then HTML code, where I can paste in code but then can't control how it looks or where to place it (you can't see it on the painting screen until you go to preview) or you can go to insert HTML code and if I dbl click on there, I can't paste code in - i have to type it.
Am I missing a third option?

Ignore the above - I have it working. I was pressing alt + v to paste which wasn't working but if I right click mouse and click paste it worked. Not sure why the first way didn't but I have it working! :)
