Apologies if this is answered elsewhere on this forum. I did search but could not find... I am trying to fill shapes with pictures. However, every time I do so the picture is greatly magnified and so only a small part of it is visible in the shape. I can not find a way to change the size of the picture when it is in the shape. I have tried resizing the picture first but the same thing happens. I only get a small part of the picture visible. Any thoughts? Thanks. |

Hi, resizing images into shapes isn't possible (yet). You'll probably have to manually resize the image on the disk for this, or use an Image element. |

That's what I did for my site - until Image Galleries were created I had one page with pictures in, which linked to a separate page for each photo. The thumbnails page was made using shapes (Web 2.0 shapes I think) and I set the background colour to one which matched the page. I then used Aperture (in mac) to export those photos as thumbnails at a set size and added the photos in to the shape. Some photos are tall and some wide, so where the tall ones left an edge either side, the background colour helped the pictures to blend in. I then set a border on each shape as well, just to make it look better (and took away the gradient setting). I'm hoping to change the site in a few days/weeks once I have image galleries filled but have a look at www.adelebywatercakes.co.uk to see what I mean if it helps. |
