I am having an odd issue with irrKlang in Windows. irrKlang is crashing when I try and do...well anything. Even the example Hello World code crashes when I compile it. However the example (pre compiled) works fine, as does the previous version of my application that uses irrKlang. The crash seems to happen when the ISoundEngine is accessed. In both the example and my application, the createIrrKlangDevice() seems to be successful, and reports that it is using DIrectSound8, but calling any of the methods on the returned pointer (which is not null) causes an instant crash. [EDIT] It was the specific version of MinGW that I was using. I installed a different version, and it seems to compile and work correctly. |
