Hi all ^ _ ^ y

I'm planning to purchase CC5, but I have some inquiry on hand, since the default scripting language is JavaScript is it possible to use TypeScript as the scripting code using Visual Studio ?

I'm an Irrlicht game dev hobbyist 8 years ago LOL, and I think the CC API is still the same but under JS

Thanks in advanced for any reply, wishing CC to be at level of Unity,Unreal,Lumberyard in terms of popularity.

Hm, if you can transpile it to older JavaScript code, then this should be possible, yes. Also, if you are using the WebGL target, you can even use more up to date JavaScript targets, so then it should work anyway.

Yes, that's right, it's similar to Irrlicht, since it is still irrlicht underneath. :)

Hello Niko,

Cool! since TypeScript automagically transpile it to JavaScript upon compiling I believed too it would work ^_^y I buy it anytime soon, I'm currently getting the hang of it from the demo.

And I found out the it's just a breeze to deploy to Android device, which is very awesome!

Thanks for the fast response,
