I recall reading Niko, the developer, once stated that he had an implementation working for this feature but that's all I heard about it.
I'd guess the physics simulation engine would need to be used, along with the C++ source code which is given to you (not the editor, but rather the "Player" or, the client as it's called) so you could implement it.
