I need some help.. I am trying to create a character menu selection screen for a game. I created a few select buttons with the 2d overlay in scene 1, in the background I put many cameras, each cameras are linked to a 2d overlay which represent a character, so each character has its own cameras.. I put a camera at the front which shows the front menu of the selection screen. When I move my mouse over any 2d overlay button, a character will show up.. Everything is working but now I would like to know out how to a switch/send the character with its camera to scene 2. I cannot use proximity in that case, when I try to switch to scene 2 the scene starts empty and there is nothing inside it. Any help would be much appreciated Nigel |

To send that character to the next scene, It doesn't work that way. You will need to have all playable characters available in each scene, then when you choose a character in the selection screen, set a variable number to represent that character. Then in each scene check that number and remove all the characters who are not that number. |

Is it possible to put all the characters on the same position with their respective cameras in scene 2 and make them invisible there and as i do the click 2d overlay from scene 1 make only one character showup in scene 2...that would eliminate the hassle to create many many scenes for each character, i have like 100..could you show me an example of what menu option i can use , for example: here i have only switch to another scene... |

I am doing some test now, i think what i want to know is when i click on 2d overlay in scene 1, how can i activate the character camera in scene 2... because the camera is deactivated by default, this is why nothing is showing up in scene 2...once camera is activated it will show character with third person controls |
