in 3dmax,Exported fbx file. ,How to modify it? |
Make the model looks like this in 3DS Max: So you will get this as the result in CopperCube: Simple, eh..? |
you should check the export options for axis in 3dsmax while exporting the model. or if you want to rotate and use the object with current axis just rotate the model in attributes settings then apply game actor or move with keyboard behavior and play with additional rotation settings... hope that helps. |

I tried to make it into a children object. Then control the parent object. And can you see my picture? |
You're talking about axis problem, then there's 2 solutions right in front of you. Why so complicated..? |
yes, this happens most of the time when creating children nodes. either change the rotation of the parent scenenode or change the rotation of the children scene node... try adjusting both of them... first of all set rotation of both the scenenodes to zero then... apply the additional rotation to the child node... child node always mimic parent node.. so if u change rotation of parent node child will get affected too.. this thing will also happens with scaling of children nodes.. |

You can sometimes correct this if you open the model in CopperCube in the animation editor. Right click the model in any 3d View select "Modify selection -> open in Animation editor", then right-click into the animation editor 3d view -> correct 3d rotation. Change one of the rotations for example to 90 and hit OK. Sometimes, this fixes it. That cannot be undone, so make a backup of your project before. |

yes,the method you provide is very good. Now it's normal. The same goes for copying. But I have another question. In many cases,The skin is normal in 3dmax. But it doesn't show right in CopperCube. |

Uhh.. yes,the method you provide is very good. Now it's normal. The same goes for copying. Wait, 3 people gave you different methods. So, when you said "the methods you provide", who do you mean..? Anyway, i'm glad that you have your issue fixed, and good luck in game developing in CopperCubeâ„¢ï¸ And about you 2nd issue, it's probably happened due to unsupported fbx. Don't get me wrong. Yes, CopperCubeâ„¢ï¸ supports fbx formats, but some fbx models would be corrupted in CopperCube, such as can only load one texture, something like in screenshot you provided. Not sure why ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Try to export your model to other formats. i'd recommend you to use .b3d format. All of my models are working exactly as i want in .b3d format so far |

Animation editor is the most appropriate option.What software can export .b3d files?I've tried it.But 3dmax can't. |
use direct x exporter for max, working fine with coppercube... http://www.cgdev.net/axe/downloa... |

Yes, it can.Thank you very much. |

Use Blender its is the best tool to export models into .x ,.b3d, .ms3d, .fbx format .... and for texture issues try irredit tools also... to use irredit/irrlicht you have to enable it from the tools and then from the options... once enabled you can use the view tab to show irredit/irrlicht window... sometimes texture can be adjusted very well through irredit/irrlicht tools. hope that will also help you out. |
