I would like to create a very simple 3D car racing game and need a very simple carphysic. Accelerate, drive left and right, roll out, decelerate during braking or reverse drive etc. Is there a plugin or finished code for this? |

hi andgameplay! I don't believe there is a "plugin" of this caliber for cc, but you can look online for code examples of each and every feature you would like to implement, namely: acceleration drive left and right roll out decelerate during breaking reverse breakdown what you want into smaller bits. use a cube to test each feature. focus on making the cube move forward with the w key and then ask yourself how can you improve this to more simulate the behavior of a car? cars have mass and require more effort to get from standstill but less to get to top speed, so a hint is you are looking at a type of resistance to your players input that wanes over time nothing easy is worth doing, friend. hope this helps you somehow and good luck! |

You can use the forum search option. There is Ambiera's Coppercube action page which holds a lot of different plugins and extensions. There was a thread posted by @robo which holds a collection of different extensions which were posted by the users and buried deep down in the forums thread. |
