Doing a search I found one topic which consists of a bunch of screen shots with arrows and lines but it assumes you already know how to use the Gif Animator. I tried a couple of things but all I got was an unresponsive edit window... What I need to know is how to get my Gifs into the scene and how to select the pose, where the Gifs need to be stored(poses?) If anyone feels up to it I'd like to see what I can add to my game. Thanks |

The thing about coppercube is that it doesn't support .gif files, unfortunately. |

In reality ypu can't use .gif images in coppercube , that behavior gif animator is much like the same animate a texture behavior the only difference is it loads the images dynamically from outside the editor. So that behavior .gif animator will not accept .gif files you can say the name of the behavior is confusing. A simple workaround to use .gif animation in coppercube is to split your .gif file into separate .png's and then use them with animate a texture behavior to get the animation in coppercube editor. To split your .gif into .png you can use Ezgif.com Here is the link to the website.... https://ezgif.com/split Hope this helps |

I can already extract individual frames from a Gif file using the animation program I wrote in Blitz3D. It will load any Gif but you have to step through each frame to resize them You can try it out with this link. Includes the source code if you want to make improvements. Just advise me if you do. All good. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZcZ-ziwmTL8TAak-4mRPPSktjPgvloCQ/view?usp=sharing |
