Hi all.. Couple simple questions... 1. Is there a way to set a new/default project that's completely blank? No skybox, prefabs or textures preloaded? I like the idea of having some ready-to-use assets for quick prototyping, etc. However, it's also good to have a completely blank project where anything/everything added is specific to the given project. Here's a mock-up of what I mean. https://i.imgur.com/JElTevQ.jpg Any way to do this? 2. Is it possible to set up subfolders inside the Prefabs/Textures windows, in order to keep things organized, easier to find, etc? So far, in my testing, it looks like everything is just thrown into the same window no matter where it's imported from, and I don't see an option to create a new folder inside the asset library windows. If either or both of these things aren't doable at the moment, may I suggest adding them in a future update? Would make it far cleaner/easier to organize projects. Thanks! |

Partially answering my own question. I just moved the default assets into different folders and so that eliminates them from the asset library windows, and gives me the blank 3D window background I wanted. Still curious about the ability to create sub-folders within the asset library windows, though. Or even a tabbed system to switch between different "library sets", which could be a proxy for folders. Something to that effecct. |

Go to editor options > Prefabs and import and there you can add multiple directories to load prefabs from if that's the thing you want to know. or just right-click in the prefabs window and choose add directory with prefabs. |

Thanks, just_in_case. I've tried that. The thing is, it throws all the assets into the same window, so everything ends up being grouped together, which makes it more difficult to find what I'm looking for. I'm more looking for the ability to create folders inside the prefab window itself. So, if I want to have textures in their own folder, models in their own folder, sounds in their own, etc. etc. Then I could double-click on the appropriate folder in the prefab window and have only the prefabs I've placed in those folders. Same with the textures. |

Sorry, but afaik there is no way of doing this right now. You can't create subfolders for prefabs and textures. |
