Hi

I have been using Rocketcake Professional for about 2 years with no problems. Since this afternoon it crashes every time I click Open (File Graphic). I tried restarting, uninstalling , etc but nothing seems to work. I appreciate any help. Thanks

Strange, does it crash when you only click "open", or also select a file to open? I guess it's the latter, right?

Maybe your file has been corrupted somehow, but that's just a guess. Or maybe it has become very large? If you are using the 32 bit version of RocketCake, try downloading and using the 64bit version (you get it on the bottom of this page: https://www.ambiera.com/rocketca...), that might already help.

HI

I apprecaite your reply. It clashes just from clicking on "open" . It does not allow me to open any files. My files are actually extremely small - usually less than 50kb - yes kb.

It does work properly when I open as administrator. I tried that today.

That's really unusual. Maybe you have some extension installed in your explorer causing this?
The "file -> open" dialog in all Windows apps is just a small explorer, and if you have some broken extension doing weired stuff in there, the app will crash.

so quite clear it is still not (open);

do you open RC from the Windows Start menu?
or
do you open an RC project in Explorer?
or
do you open a project in RocketCake?

You write "since this afternoon". What happened before that? Maybe a Windows update?

Which version RC do you have?
