Wow, that's cool! What is the key for shooting? It seems it doesn't work for me.

Nice job Tim, great example of what can be done with CopperCube. I couldn't find the shoot key either, but assume a WIP. Great job though all the same

LOL, yeah, it would help if I read the instructions, but the font used is kind of hard to read. Works fine in Chromium, will try in IE too, but I'm sure it will work fine. nice work on the sprites. Did you use just available functions or did you have any custom code that had to be added, I assume you had some manual coding to do, even if it was minimal.

But, very cool casual game. Would be great to have a tutorial if you were so inclined, for I'm sure others besides myself would appreciate and learn quite a bit from it.

EDIT: Ok, I tried it in IE, it worked fine until you go into full screen mode, then the "F" key no longer works. You can still maneuver the view/gun but it's not detecting the key press. Don't know if this is something with the new "full screen" function, or with the flash player itself. In Chromium the "full screen" sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't, don't know if it's something I'm doing, but I don't think so.

Just thought I would let you know. But again, great job, it's damned hard to hit those stupid ducks...lol.

Thanks kurtmel, it was all just available functions. I did have to do some sneaky things though, with the ducks. When a duck gets shot, I 'hide' the animated moving duck, replace with a hidden-from-view falling duck , place a dead duck in the same position as the falling duck with the height coordinates adjusted so it just beneath the ground... then when the falling duck touches i guess the "outside of the dead duck", it hides the falling duck and moves the dead duck up or replaces the position of the falling duck before it disapeared I actually forgot how I did it but theres your tutorial, I hope that makes sense.

Fullscreen also doesn't have the new key functions work in my browsers, but it does work when using flash player on my mac.

@tim12345: I hope you don't mind, I wrote a bit about your game on my private blog: http://www.irrlicht3d.org/pivot/...
If you want any real names as credit or the game taken off again from there, just let me know.

Great game, btw. You caused me thinking several minutes about how you did that.. :)

Well, by looking at the new AI docs and watching it afterwards, I think I have a better idea how he did it, but will have to test it out and see if I'm right. Unless of course TIm would be so kind as to give the CopperCube community an awesome tutorial....wink,wink, hint hint...LOL But, some VERY "out of the box" thinking for sure. Love the trick with the duck sprites...very ingenious.

Niko - maybe offer Tim a free upgrade or something to post a tutorial? Between this and his "Custodian" game, he has a real talent for CopperCube.

Thanks Kurtmel, but there will be no tutorials. I have barely enough time to ponder further CopperCube theorys that utilize the available functions. But I will do my best to explain any questions you have with a series of lines and commas, as I did with the ducks, which was just an old trick I learned from using a previous 3D java editor years ago.

Thanks duffy, no free upgrade and no tutorial. I just don't have time for that, as the tutorials would be unusually large. If you have any questions about utilizing available functions though, i would be glad to try to answer them. And I will be sure to "click together" another example as soon as I can formulate a decent workable idea. (which has taken several months in certain cases)
