I'm trying to make an effect that happens when the mouse is pressed there will be a fire effect from the shot but I don't know what settings I should enter |

@covigames21 do you mean a muzzle flash? |
unhide a transparent png and a light source, then hide it again 150ms later. This will make a flash. - do this every few seconds when "fire" is pressed, to make a machine gun flash. *Align the png and light with the end of your gun model. |

I am sorry, I mean shoot effect |

*shot |

@covigames21 Do you mean bullet hole decals? Like this? |
Bullet Hole Effect, Muzzle Flash, Gun wound from body can be done the same way but png will have to attach to model. Bullet Hole Effect will have to attach to wall create a variable when shoot, Muzzle flash is attached to the gun, gun wound have to attach on enemy character create a variable. |

thank you . But that was not a complete guide. How to detect a bullet hitting an object? |

@Ali https://www.ambiera.com/forum.ph... In the above url, on the second page, VP says: "Make a vertical billboard with a .png image of a bullet-hole and select "transparent alpha" in it's material properties. Then when you shoot, use the "action on hit" option, use clone "billboard" action, then use the "move node position" to "position of last bullet impact" as the target for the clone." That is to add a bullet hole to an object, I believe. If you just want to detect if something has been shot, you can set a variable to do that. You can also use the Do something later action to unset that same variable if needed. Link to Do something later action: https://www.ambiera.com/coppercu... |
